So this page is about me- actually the whole website is mostly about me- hence the name ;). However, I suppose I can say a bit more.
I am a currently "under-published" fantasy novelist. I have a short story that is available in a collection for sale on Amazon (Creatures of the Night is the book; Paranoia is my story.) I have been writing for longer than needs to be discussed and have no intention of stopping. I don't think I could. If I tried I would most likely end up sitting in a coffee shop babbling to myself, scribbling bits and pieces on shabby napkins, and annoying innocent passerby with updates of the stories in my head. Since that is not an appeasing image- I'll just keep writing.
I have finished the first two books in a fantasy with romantic elements series and have the outline for the third. I've also completed the first book in a SF/Space Opera series and am currently editing it. Upon completion of the SF book, I launched into yet another series, this the first book in a first person "mystery-fantasy-romance-adventure” series. Sort of Indiana Jones meets Stephanie Plum meets Glen Cook's Garret. I have another work-in-progress, "In an alternative Victorian London, a half-vampire medical examiner has to find a way to stop an invasion from Mars". I believe in constantly improving my craft, and moving on to new worlds.
In 2010, I am focusing on building my craft and my knowledge of what it takes to make a book no one can put down. I'm also finding out my own strengths and weakness and improving them.
I hold a MA in Psychology and have been published in various academic journals (with exciting and completely unrelated titles such as "Adolescence" and "American Journal of Drug and Alcohol") all were written during my time as a behavioral researcher for a traffic institute.
I write because I love creating worlds and people for them. I hope to one day find and agent and editor who love my world's as much as I do.
